Frequently Asked Questions about Healing

What is body energy?

It has been scientifically proven that every living creation is made up of electromagnetic energy which vibrates at different frequencies. You may have heard this described in past as an ‘Aura’ or ‘Chi’ energy, which flows through the body in order to maintain health and well-being, both physically and emotionally.

What are chakras?

Chakras are energy centres in the physical body. If any of these chakras get blocked or closed, the energy flow is restricted and disease or emotional unbalance can occur. Healing aims to maintain or restore the flow of energy to allow the body to heal itself.

What will I feel during the session?

During healing you may experience sensations such as tingling or a sense of cold or warmth etc., or feel nothing at all. Whether you feel anything or not during the treatment does not impact the outcome.

How many sessions will I need?

Each person is unique and so is their condition. Sometimes one session may be sufficient but more often than not several sessions are needed and results appear gradually.

Healing seeks out the underlying cause as well as the “presenting symptom”. This can mean that the outcome of a healing treatment may manifest in an unexpected way.  There may be times when you experience some kind of emotional release as part of the healing process. Sometimes the process is obvious, sometimes more subtle.

Are there any contra-indications?

No. Healing is a complementary and non- invasive therapy that can be used by all.

Healing does not require you to stop any treatment or medication prescribed by a general practitioner or consultant.

Is it necessary to have faith?

Spiritual healing is not the same as faith healing and as such is not linked to any religious. You do you need to belong to any faith to benefit from spiritual healing.
